Come stay for a ROMANTIC WEEKEND with your sweetie.
You can add the Romance Package which would have you arrive to a cheese/fruit platter and bottle of wine and flowers in your room (please add just $85 to room rate). Don't forget, you awaken to our fabulous breakfasts, too! Choose the Anna White room if you want a working fireplace AND a Jacuzzi or the Mary Rose Room for a cozy firelit atmosphere!! 2 night minimum or a 20% surcharge added to your room for a one night stay.

It’s all about GHOST STORIES! The Nathan Hale Homestead (an awesome atmosphere) has given our guests a special ticket price per person (added to your room rate. We join them for their THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT EVENT then return to the B&B for dessert by the fire (or fire pit if weather permits). Depending upon availability, we also include one night of private TAROT CARD readings by talented mediums/psychics. This package is posted on our

Saturday is yours to meander through our wonderful area…visit our wineries/antique stores and historic homes or hike on various trails. Return for the Tarot Card event and enjoy a hearthside dinner included in the package.
On Sunday, wake to the wonderful, full country breakfasts we are becoming famous for!

Afternoon Tea for Parties of 4-8 Guests
Come relax while we spoil you for an afternoon with a lovely, leisurely and proper high tea in the dining room of this pre-revolutionary home.
Menu is dependent upon the season. A selection of teas and a complimentary glass of champagne are served.
The price of this package begins at $30 per person depending upon choice of menu options. A credit card will hold your date with a two-week cancellation policy. 50% will be charged one week prior to your date, and the remaining 50% charged at time of tea. Please understand that once shopping has been done, the 50% deposit cannot be refunded for any reason.
Bridal Showers and Baby Showers for Under 20 Guests
Celebrate your special occasion in our pre-revolutionary home filled with antiques and charming fireplaces, or outdoors on our two acres of property filled with specimen trees and perennial gardens.
The rate for use of the property is $100 per hour and begins upon arrival of caterer and or bridal party and ends upon completion of final clean up.
This includes full use of our indoor facilities as well as our grounds. Additional fees charged if The Daniel Rust House supplies food, decorations, and additional services.
An appointment must be made to discuss planning options. A credit card will hold your date with a two-week cancellation policy. 50% will be charged one week prior to your date, and the remaining 50% charged at time of shower.
We treat each private event with utmost care and planning. Please understand that once The Daniel Rust House completes the shopping for your party, the 50% deposit cannot be refunded for any reason.
Bridal Party Photos at The Daniel Rust House
Our two-acre property, filled with specimen trees, perennial gardens, and colonial ambiance is available to make your pictures distinctive. Come enjoy champagne and a cheese/fruit platter while you record your special memories outdoors at The Daniel Rust House.
Property rate: $20 per person, per hour.
This fee is for exterior photography only on our grounds and includes the refreshments. For use of entire property (indoor facilities and grounds) please see package above.
We require a minimum of one week’s prior notice to book your photography session. Credit card will be held until your day and charged upon your arrival. No deposit is required and there is no charge for rain day.
Ring In the New Year at The Daniel Rust House
Come join us to welcome in the New Year amidst cozy fire-lit rooms, a midnight meal, champagne, and lively conversation!
In this hurried modern life, let us help you travel back to a quieter time. Cocktails and hor d'ouvres begin at 8 PM. followed by a fabulously delicious meal and we cap off the new year with a midnight champagne toast. Then retire for an indulgent sleep in. Brunch is served on New Year’s Day at 11:30 AM.
To enjoy this package please add $95 per person to your room rate for a scrumptious gourmet meal.

After a restful night's sleep in one of our period-decorated rooms, you will awake to the aroma of a full country breakfast.

Enjoy an evening while watching a movie outdoors!
Located just 3 miles from the B&B, the Mansfield Drive In is the only one of its kind in Eastern Connecticut.
The Drive In is open approximately April 1 to the last weekend in September and they allow your canine family members to join you too!
Package includes One night double occupancy with full country breakfast, entrance fee to the drive in and a snack bag!
Add $40 to your room rate for this package.
Senior Week Day Special
If you are retired and loving the traveling life, we have the place for you to stay at the right price—a 10% senior discount all year, for any stay Monday through Thursday. If you bring your dog and he/she is over seven years old we will give your pet the same discount!
Sorry, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve are excluded from weekday specials.
Celebrating The Generations of Women
A weekend for Grandmothers/Mothers/ Granddaughters to come together and share their memories, life experiences, family history and future dreams.
Sit hearthside in our 1740 Keeping Room, stroll our 2 acres and country lane, relax in one of our garden settings or play board games in our family room while you strengthen your family ties.
Includes: Tea party and a welcome basket with journals. Dessert after your return from dinner and a full country champagne breakfast served before departure. Sparkling Cider provided for the young ladies!!

Rates: $120-$185 room rate/double occupancy plus rates for this package begin at $30 per person depending upon your menu choice. Third party no charge for cot in room.
RATES & CANCELLATION POLICY:
$100 per hour for use of property. Rate begins upon caterer’s arrival and ends upon completion of final cleanup.
All rooms are at our normal rates.
50% deposit upon booking with a three-week cancellation policy (four weeks if event is to take place on any major holiday).
Cancellation of less than 3-4 weeks results in a full room charge to be taken out of deposit or charged to credit card depending upon fees due.
